the more I heard about bgate3, the more convinced I am it’s just so big it’s going to collapse under its own weight. Like the character creation is huge, apparently there’s 30+ hours of cutscenes (?), romance options, the dnd mechanics depth- and then you throw in the hardware requirements and like. is anyone going to be able to make it through the tutorial of this game or will we + our computers just explode from the weight of it all.

Just another little something I stumbled across while poking in the game files.
During the Season 1 story step A Moment’s Peace (known as Connecting the Pieces in the current release) there’s an exchange between Rox and Braham in which goes as follows:
Braham: Rox, your devourer- Rox: Chewed on your axe handle. I know. Sorry.
Well, it turns out that there are several other possible responses from Rox about Frostbite’s shenanigans which were recorded and apparently never used.

Rox: Followed you out behind the bush, I– oh. And watched? *ahem* Sorry. Rox: Drooled in your boot. I know. What can I say? He likes the smell of feet!
zines are so good. fandom collab is the good shit and when there’s a physical thing you can get? chefs kiss. but then. then you find a zine and you’re like yeah!
